Four-Motored Transport
"The pilots' compartment in the Huge four-motored, all-metal "Superskyliner"
being built for TWA by the Boeing Aircraft Company, Seattle, Wash., is
said by pilots who have seen it to be the most efficient and simplest ever
designed.
Triplicate gyroscopic flight instruments are provided, while all other
instruments are in duplicate.
Immediately to the right is the radio installation, most modern ever made.
Eight different receivers will be provided. With the full-scale "mockup"
model just approved by T.W.A., The factory will begin immediate
construction. The giant liners will be flying the famous Sky Sheif
schedules this summer.
